Refunds & Returns

All items must be returned in their original, new condition, complete with packaging and contents. Credits for returned items will be applied to the credit card used for the original purchase. Credits will be issued within 10 days from the date the return is accepted by our Warehouse Team.

When returning products, ensure you pack your shipment securely. We recommend returning items via insured mail to ensure your protection.

30-Day Return Window:

We stand by the quality of our products and offer a 30-day return policy. This means you have 30 days from the date of receiving your item to request a return. Please note that shipping and processing fees cannot be refunded.

Eligibility Criteria:

All items must be returned in their original, new condition, complete with packaging and contents. Additionally, please ensure you have the receipt or proof of purchase available. Credits will be issued within 10 days from the date the return is accepted by our Warehouse Team.

Initiating a Return:

To start a return, simply contact us at customercare@thewineopener.ie Once your return is accepted, we will provide you with detailed instructions on how and where to send your package. It's essential to note that items sent back without prior authorisation will not be accepted. Postage is not covered when returning an item and it is you responsibility.

Damages and Issues:

Upon receiving your order, please inspect the items immediately. If you discover any defects, damages, or if you've received the wrong item, contact us promptly. We are committed to evaluating the issue and ensuring we make it right for you.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items:

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or personalised products. All other items not meeting the eligibility criteria mentioned earlier will not be accepted for return.

Exchanges:

If you wish to exchange an item, the quickest way is to return the item you have. Once your return is accepted, you can make a separate purchase for the new item. This ensures a swift and efficient process to get the product you desire.

Refund Process:

Upon receiving and inspecting your return, we will notify you. If approved, the refund will be processed automatically to your original payment method. Please keep in mind that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund (up to 10 days)
